DIRECTIONS
From the airport you take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station.
Walk out of the station and walk over to the Victoria hotel. When
you are facing the Victoria hotel, you turn right and you go into
the second street on the left named
"Martelaars Gracht". Keep walking down that street. After
passing 8 alley’s (small streets) on you left hand you will see our
street that’s called the
"Nieuwe Nieuwstraat" go in this alley you are now in the
"Nieuwe Nieuwstraat", you will find us at number 17.
By tram, metro or bus a single ticket will cost you € 1.60 if you travel in the city centre. In front of Amsterdam Centraal Station you will find several trams. All the trams have a number the following trams will take you straight to Amsterdam Hostel Cosmos: 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17, the stop where you get out is called "Nieuwezijds Kolk". You have to cross the street and walk towards Hotel Sofitel, the Nieuwe Nieuwstraat is located between Hotel Sofitel and Japanese Restaurant Kobe. We are located at the Nieuwe Nieuwstraat 17.
Trains between Schiphol airport and Amsterdam Centraal Station depart about every 10 minutes between 6am and 1am, and once every hour between 1am and 6am. A one way ticket will cost you € 3.20 from a vending machine, you will need some coins though. Trains to Amsterdam Central Station generally depart from platform 1 or 2.
